The CSA 4-Day Series match between the Renault North West Dragons and World Sports Betting Western Province was completely washed out, after poor weather meant no play was possible for the fourth and final consecutive day at the JB Marks Oval in Potchefstroom on Sunday.

Western Province will be disappointed as they needed a win to give themselves a chance of sneaking into the competitional final, while it was a bit of a dead rubber match for the Dragons as they were already out of the hunt.

It ends a mixed season for both teams, where the Dragons finished third on the T20 Challenge log and second from bottom of the One-Day Cup, while Western Province finished fourth in the T20 Challenge, making the second qualifier, and bottom of the One-Day Cup.
