The Hollywoodbets Dolphins Ladies are back in Hollywoodbets Pro Series action this weekend against the Knights hoping to continue their fine form that they took into the extended break.

The Dolphins side has lost just one match so far across both the Hollyoodbets Pro20 and Hollywoodbets Pro50 so far this season and coach Angelique Taai feels that her side is in the right space heading into this weekend.

"I could not have asked for a better mood in the camp," Taai said. "The players are enjoying their time together and making the most of it while putting in the hard yards.

"Cricket is a funny game we don’t take anything for granted. Momentum is always what we want, but it goes back to sticking to our processes that got us to the position that we are in currently."

This weekend begins the Dolphins run-in to the end of the season, and they will be out to defend their 50 over title this season. They will also be chasing a first T20 title this season, however Taai doesn't want the team to focus too far into the future.

"We are very much focused on our processes despite the end goal. Staying present and grounded while enjoying what we do best.

"The players are in a very good space and looking forward to kick off the second half of the season. The break was long, but we continued to work on the areas we identified where we have to improve on," Taai added.

The Dolphins will welcome back spinner Seshnie Naidu for this weekend, however they will also be without a handful of players this week.

"We have four players out of action namely Courtney Gounden, Jade de Figueiredo, Kwanga Pinini and Ayanda Hlubi for this coming fixture versus Knight, but we still very much confident in the playing eleven who will take the field.

"This gives an opportunity to the rest of the squad to put up their hands and showcase their talent. We have Seshnie back who returns to the fold after the SA u19 Women’s World Cup 2025 in Malaysia."
