TOURNAMENT FORMAT

A record 12 teams headline the biggest edition yet. Hosts England qualified automatically, joined by top-ranked giants Australia, India, South Africa, New Zealand, Pakistan, West Indies and Sri Lanka.

Qualifiers Bangladesh, Scotland, Ireland and tournament debutants Netherlands complete the line-up after booking their spots via the global qualifier.

Format snapshot:

  • Two groups of six
  • Round-robin clashes
  • Top two advance to semifinals, final

Commentary will be in English, plus isiXhosa and Afrikaans.
