Angola fix two friendlies for Cup of Nations preparations

Angola, who will be South Africa’s first opponents at the Africa Cup of Nations finals in Morocco later this month, will have two warm-up internationals before the tournament kicks off.
Angola are heading to Portugal for their preparations and have lined up friendlies against DR Congo on 13 December and Mozambique three days later.

The Palancas Negras will be based in Portugal for a 10-day spell from 8-18 December.
The Angolan Football Federation (FAF) said coach Patrice Beaumelle should announce “in the next few days” his 28-man squad for the tournament but did not give a specific day.
Angola meet South Africa in Marrakesh in their first Group B game on 21 December before playing Zimbabwe on 26 December and Egypt in Agadir three days after that.
At the last finals in the Ivory Coast, Angola reached the quarterfinals.
