Lilepo header earns Chiefs win over Stellenbosch

Kaizer Chiefs are back to winning ways after defeating Stellenbosch FC 1-0 in a Betway Premiership encounter at Athlone Stadium on Friday evening.

A headed goal by Makabi Lilepo in only his second start for Chiefs was the difference between the two sides in a match where Stellenbosch had a little more possession and Chiefs more shots on goal than the home side.

The win sees Amakhosi move to 4th in the log standings on 25 points while Stellenbosch are 8th.
