Cape Town City sign fifth new player
Cape Town City have added Magesi FC goalkeeper Elson Sithole to their squad for the 2024/25 DStv Premiership campaign, a fifth new arrival at the club in recent weeks.

Sithole, 23, will provide competition for regular No 1 Darren Keet having been a back-up at Magesi in their promotion season in the Motsepe Foundation Championship last campaign. He made three starts in the league.
He was previously at Orlando Pirates, where he appeared on the bench on seven occasion but never played a minute, and at Venda FC.
City have already named Hasheem Domingo from Raja Casablanca in Morocco; Kayden Francis from Chippa United. Fortune Makaringe from Orlando Pirates and the Namibian international Prince Tjiueza, who was last at Liria Prizren in Kosovo, as their new signings.
The club have sold Brice Ambina to Valerenga in Norway and released Jo Paciencia, Thabiso Kutumela, Khanya Leshabela, Relebogile Mokhuoane and back-up goalkeeper Bongani Mpandle.
