BetKing Ethiopia Premier League Champions St George would love to go into the halfway mark top of the table, and they face Dire Dawa in a rescheduled match

The encounter should be a home game for St George, but because this round of games is currently being played at the Dire Dawa International Stadium, it does feel like an away game.

St George currently sit second on the log with 29 points, behind league leaders Ethiopian Insurance who lead by a point with 30 points.

However, "the Horsemen" have been scoring goals for fun, averaging two goals per game and 30 goals scored this season as well as a mean defence that has let in just nine goals.

Ismail Ouro-Agoro, St George's top striker, produced the winner for them in their last game, combining sweetly with Amanuel Gebremichael and it will be interesting to see if Amanuel starts alongside the in-form Chernet Gugsa.

A win or a draw takes them back on top of the table

Their opponents, Dire Dawa, are way back in 13th position with 18 points, and a mark of their season is the fact that they have conceded more goals, 22, than they have scored, 21.

The worst part is that they have lost their last three games so their current form doesn't inspire confidence that they can take something from St George.

Bahir Dar take on Wolaitta Dicha looking to improve on their lowly 14th position on the log. Woliatta lie in 10th position.
