Ivory Coast player ratings against Germany
Ivory Coast succumbed to a last-minute defeat against Germany in their second group E clash at the World Cup on Saturday, having taken the lead in Toronto.
It was a heartbreaking loss as they deserved at least a point, but they go into their final pool game against Curacao still in a strong position to advance to the round of 32.

These are SuperSport’s player ratings for the game against the Germans:
Yahia Fofana (7): Made several good saves as the Germans created six big chances in the game and kept the scoreline down to almost earn a draw for his side. He saved three of those big chances.
Wilfried Singo (6): Won five of his seven ground duels but also had a relatively low passing accuracy of 78 per cent, which counted against him. Had six progressive carries and completed six of his eight passes in the final third.
Odilon Kossounou (7): The centre-back was mostly solid, with five clearances, three recoveries and three interceptions. Had an excellent 96 per cent passing accuracy and won 67 per cent of his duels.
Emmanuel Agbadou (6): Made six clearances and two interceptions to go with three recoveries, but only won 50 per cent of his duels at centre-back.
Ghislain Konan (6): Six clearances and four recoveries represents a strong return, but he was also beaten several times on the left. Tried to get forward when he could, but the Germans put him under pressure.
Ibrahim Sangare (7): Played as a defensive midfielder sitting in front of the back four and won all seven of his duels. He also completed all four of his passes in the final third in a tidy display from the Nottingham Forest man.
Amad Diallo (6): Not his best performance, but he did produce two key passes and tried to create something on the right wing with seven progressive carries.
Franck Kessie (7): Took his goal well and had a 94 per cent passing accuracy to go with four progressive carries. An industrious performance as ever from the experienced midfielder.
Christ Inao Oulai (7): A mixed display in which he completed five successful dribbles but also lost possession five times. Overall, he was a standout performer with his quality on the ball and looked to create chances for his side at every opportunity.
Yan Diomande (7): Created one big chance for the side and completed three successful dribbles in another strong performance from the teenage winger. He had an impressive 11 progressive carries.
Ange-Yoan Bonny (6): Struggled to create much up front and was replaced after 75 minutes having made little impact on the game.
Evann Guessand (6): Came on for the final 15 minutes but made little impact on the game.
Seko Fofana (5): Also played the final 15 minutes but could not get into the contest. Made one error that led to a Germany chance.
Simon Adingra (6): Came on for Diallo after 75 minutes and was neat and tidy on the ball without creating much.
Guela Doue and Nicolas Pepe also came on but did not play long enough to earn a rating.
