Two-time champion Rovanpera to return fulltime to WRC

Two-time world rally champion Kalle Rovanpera will return to the circuit fulltime next season, his Toyota team announced on Monday.

The Finn only competed in seven rallies this year after lifting the title in 2022 and 2023, winning four.

"It's been a nice year, but it's also given me a lot of motivation to return for the full season," said Rovanpera.

Frenchman Sebastien Ogier, an eight-time world champion, will continue racing for Toyota on a part-time basis.

The 2025 season gets under way in Monte Carlo on January 23, with Belgium's Thierry Neuville the reigning champion.
