Gqeberha gears up for Bafana showdown with Zambia

Gqeberha will come alive with football fever as Bafana Bafana take on Zambia in an international friendly at the iconic Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on 15 November.

The clash forms part of coach Hugo Broos’ preparations for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco later this year, and offers fans a chance to see the 2026 FIFA World Cup-bound South African side in action on home soil.

Kick-off is scheduled for 6pm CAT, with ticketing details to be announced soon by the South African Football Association (SAFA).

Coach Broos will unveil his final 23-man squad for the friendly at SAFA House on 6 November, trimming down the preliminary list he released earlier this week.
