Ukraine's Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk, a world championships silver medallist in the long jump and triple jump, has been provisionally suspended for doping, the Athletics Integrity Unit said on Thursday.

Bekh-Romanchuk, 29, tested positive for testosterone, the AIU said, without giving the date of the test.

She will be barred from competing while her case is investigated.

Bekh-Romanchuk won world silver in the long jump at the 2019 world championships and had to settle for silver in the triple jump in 2023 when she lost to Venezuela's Yulimar Rojas in the final round.

She finished 11th in the triple jump final at last year's Paris Olympics.
