Jefferson-Wooden completes sprint double at US trials

Jefferson-Wooden scorched home at Eugene's Hayward Field in a personal best of 21.84secs, with Anavia Battle second in 22.13secs.

Olympic champion Gabby Thomas however was given a huge scare, just snatching third place in a photo finish with Brittany Brown to book her ticket to the Tokyo World Championships in September.

Thomas was awarded third place by the finest of margins, with her official time 22.197secs, with Brown fourth in 22.198secs.
