FC Barcelona announce their return to the Spotify Camp Nou
It was announced this past week that FC Barcelona plan to return to the Spotify Camp Nou at the beginning of the 2025/26 season. After playing the past two seasons at the Estadi Olímpic, Barça will now be back at their true home, returning on August 10th for the 2025 Joan Gamper Trophy.
Real Madrid reach the knockouts of the Club World Cup
Xabi Alonso’s first tournament as coach of Real Madrid is going well, with Los Blancos having advanced to the knockout rounds of the Club World Cup. They’ll take on Juventus in the Last 16 of the competition, with that match taking place in Miami on July 1st.
Gonzalo Garcia makes a name for himself
One of the stars of Real Madrid’s Club World Cup campaign has been Gonzalo Garcia, the 21-year-old centre-forward who has scored two goals and provided one assist through the first three games. RC Celta win the race to sign Ferran Jutglà
Ferran Jutglà is returning to Spain, with RC Celta having won the race to sign the 26-year-old forward from Club Brugge. Jutglà scored 40 goals in 148 appearances for the Belgian club, and is now returning to Spain. Earlier in his career Jutglà made six LALIGA EA SPORTS appearances for FC Barcelona, scoring one goal.

Valencia CF have completed their first signing of the season, by brining Dani Raba to Mestalla. The winger has plenty of experience in LALIGA EA SPORTS, having previously played for Villarreal CF, Granada CF and CD Leganés in the top flight.
Robert Navarro returns to the Basque Country with Athletic Club
Former Real Sociedad and RCD Mallorca winger Robert Navarro is returning to the Basque Country, having agreed a transfer to Athletic Club. Even though he is still only 23, Navarro has racked up plenty of top-flight experience already and arrives as a free agent to provide extra depth to Ernesto Valverde.
RCD Espanyol keep Roberto Fernández and Carlos Romero
RCD Espanyol have already been busy during this transfer window, and they made a couple more moves this past week. Their focus this week was on keeping two of last season’s loan stars to permanent deals, with striker Roberto Fernández and left-back Carlos Romero both staying on at the RCDE Stadium.
