The family of the former SuperSport presenter have confirmed that the inaugural Bo Moseneke Pro-Am Invitational, a prestigious two-day golf event, will be held at the Zimbali Country club from 29-30 November, 2025.

This Pro-Am is more than a sporting occasion. It is a heartfelt tribute to Botshelo “Bo” Moseneke – beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, friend, and colleague – whose warmth, laughter, and passion for family, sport, and broadcasting inspired all who knew him.

The invitational also marks 20 years since Bo’s untimely passing, making this celebration of his life and legacy especially poignant.

“It will be our personal honour to welcome family, friends, colleagues, and the wider golfing community to join us in remembering Bo in the way he would have loved – on the golf course,” said the Moseneke family.

The Bo Moseneke Pro-Am Invitational is a collaboration between the Moseneke family, The Sunshine Tour, The Sunshine Ladies Tour, Zimbali Country Club, and the Diabetes Foundation.

All proceeds from the event will support the Diabetes Foundation, a cause close to the family’s heart and one that reflects Bo’s enduring spirit of generosity and care for others.

Players and guests can expect a world-class experience across two unforgettable days.

Bo Moseneke was a trailblaser in the broadcasting, radio, and television industries, admired for his dedication on and off the screen. Two decades later, his legacy continues to inspire.

“Every few decades, life presents special moments where legacy, charity, golf, and a legend come together,” said the family.

“The Bo Moseneke Pro-Am is such a moment.”
