IPL Powerplay Update: Buttler goes bonkers as Titans race to 68-1 v Capitals

Gujarat Titans batter Jos Buttler got his side off to a cracking start, after an early wicket, as they reached the end of the powerplay in a solid position on 68-1 in their Tata IPL match against the Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Wednesday evening.
The Capitals won the toss and chose to bowl, and it was Mukesh Kumar who got the early breakthrough at the start of the third over when opener Sai Sudharsan (12) chopped onto his own stumps to reduce them to 19-1.

But that brought in Buttler, who proceeded to hog the strike over the rest of the powerplay, as he slammed five sixes and three fours on his way to an unbeaten 47 off 22 balls at the end of the sixth over.
He is at the crease with opener Shubman Gill (7*), who has been a virtual spectator over the innings so far, and they will hope to build a big partnership as they target a strong total, while the Capitals will be gunning for more wickets.
