SuperSport viewers set to experience superb 2025 Masters coverage
SuperSport is proud to announce its coverage of the 2025 Masters on Your World of Champions, which begins with daily live coverage of the practice round called Masters on the Range, starting on Monday.
Masters on the Range will be a two-hour long live programme that will incorporate live coverage of the practices in the build-up to Thursday's tee-off.
In between, sit-down interviews with former Masters champions Trevor Immelman, Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus and Scottie Scheffler will also be aired on SuperSport.
As a sporting spectacle, there are few more dramatic.
To capture all the moments, SuperSport’s live coverage of this year’s tournament will begin with early coverage on the opening round on Thursday 10 April at 14:45 on SuperSport Grandstand (DStv channel 201).
Your World of Champions will have two dedicated linear channels for the Masters, SuperSport Golf (213) and SuperSport Variety 2 (207) as well as two OTT channels on DStv Stream, Channel 950 and 951.

With these additions, SuperSport’s total live hours coverage promises to be 20 per cent greater this year than in 2024.
SuperSport is also set to once again have a South African on the ground, golf presenter OG Molefe, who will bring viewers a relatable take on this year’s tournament from Augusta National.
EPIC BATTLE
Augusta National is set to be the picturesque scene of yet another epic and historic battle for the green jacket and a place in the storied history of the Masters.
American Scheffler, the defending champion and two-time winner, is among the players to beat, as is Northern Irishman Rory McIlroy, the other form golfer on the planet.
Though he’s yet to claim a green jacket, having come agonisingly close on a couple of occasions, many have tipped McIlroy as one of the players who are “due one”.

But Augusta National isn’t known as a charitable course – quite the contrary.
It has in the past and continues to demand the utmost in each golfer's skill and concentration; a battle as tough mentally as it is competitively, exacerbated by the crowd fervour and millions of viewers who add their own layer of pressure.
SIMULTANEOUS VIEWING
Viewers will be able to engage in the four-day-long epic chase for the year’s first Major in superb SuperSport quality as well as DStv Stream’s premium viewing experience, which allows a “Watch from Start” function as well as an extra stream (up to two devices anywhere), which was reintroduced (for DStv Premium and Compact customers) in March 2025.
It means for this year’s Masters, DStv customers get more out of their DStv Premium subscription, allowing for more simultaneous viewing.
South Africans can look forward to seeing 2011 champion Charl Schwartzel and compatriots Christiaan Bezuidenhout and Thriston Lawrence, who is making his first appearance at the Masters.
