Feyenoord's Brazilian striker Paixo joins Marseille

Feyenoord's Brazilian striker Igor Paixao has joined French club Marseille, the Ligue 1 side announced on Friday.
Media reports suggest the 25-year-old has penned a five-year contract worth €35 million, which if correct would make him Marseille's record signing.

Paixo joined Feyenoord in 2022, helping the Dutch club to the league title the following year.
Last season he scored 18 goals with 19 assists and was named player of the year.
He scored the decisive goal in the Dutch Cup final win against Nijmegen.
He received his first Brazil call up in 2023 with the Olympic team.
