Ex-Pirates star joins Stellenbosch

Stellenbosch FC have confirmed the signing of former Orlando Pirates defender Olisa Ndah, with the 28 year old joining the club on a free transfer following four-and-a-half seasons at Mayfair.
Ndah, a full Nigeria international, arrives as a major boost to Steve Barker’s defensive options and becomes the latest experienced campaigner added to Stellies’ evolving backline.

“Olisa is a player with proven quality and experience at the highest level, and we are pleased to welcome him to Stellenbosch FC,” CEO Rob Benadie said in the club statement.
“We are deliberate in our recruitment strategy to ensure that every signing complements the group, and having assessed him closely, we are confident he will be a valuable addition to our squad.”
Ndah is now the fourth Nigerian to represent the Maroons, joining current teammates Ibraheem Jabaar and Kazie Enyinnaya, as well as former forward Stanley Dimgba.
He could make his debut as early as Wednesday evening when Stellenbosch face Magesi FC in a Betway Premiership clash at Danie Craven Stadium.
