Province bowl first ahead of play-off tilt

World Sports Betting Western Province will bowl first against DP World Lions after losing the toss ahead of their CSA T20 Challenge clash at Newlands on Friday.

The home side are done and dusted in their bid to reach the play-off phase next week.

That’s more than can be said for the reigning champions, as a super over defeat to the Dragons on Wednesday extinguished the Lions’ hopes of retaining their crown.
