POWER PLAY UPDATE: Captain Gill leads Gujarat Titans to 62-0 v CSK

Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill and fellow opener Sai Sudharsan gave their side a solid start reaching 62-0 in the Power Play after being asked to bat first in their Tata IPL match against the Chennai Super Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Thursday.
Right-hander Gill stroked five mostly orthodox fours and a beautiful straight six in his 35* from 18 balls with left-hander Sudharsan adding three more in his 21* from 18 with Australian left-armer Spencer Johnson taking most of the punishment with two overs costing 30 runs.

The Titans have already qualified for the playoffs and are pushing for a top-two finish while victory for the Super Kings will give them a slim, mathematical chance of qualifying depending on a number of other results.
