If you thought last week’s episode had shockers, then you surely don’t want to miss episode three of the SuperSport MVP Talent Search show.

The show, hosted by SuperSport’s Hope Mbhele and Tshego Koke, aims to find South Africa’s next generation of sports broadcasters.

Our Top 20 find solace in each other after a whirlwind of exits and challenges in the first two episodes. Watch Ep.1 and 2 on Catch-Up and tune in for Ep.3 this Sunday at 21:00 on Variety 4 and Mzansi Magic.

The contestants are working on improving their game after the first challenge which required them to have their sporting knowledge in tip top shape.

Hmmm, come to think of that, how will last week’s top 10 contestants come out towards their fellow competitors? Will they share the pearls of knowledge from the judges on how they can improve? But then again, this competition is based on the individuals’ performances.

The friendships and camaraderie are growing. It is great to see that the competitors are supporting one another.

While we are still there, we see yet another contestant leaving the show. Can you guess who? Unfortunately, a personal decision forces one MVP to leave the SuperSport MVP Talent draft camp. Oh, did tears not flow like the river Nile!

But oh boy, do the participants not know that being a well-rounded television sports personality requires more than just looking good on camera. These days we live on socials.

And that is where the challenge comes in this week. Our top 20 will be tested on their abilities on being content creators. How well can they do in this challenge? Who of last week’s top 10 will make it again into the second challenge? That has me so nervous!

Social media plays a big role in promoting some sporting events and the matches that get broadcast on Your World of Champions.

This week the MVPs will have to impress SuperSport's Senior Manager of Digital Marketing, Nazli Hamilton. And oh boy, is she stern!

The contenders will have to bring their A-game to this challenge. The twist here will have you picking up your jaw from the floor!

MEDALS UP FOR GRABS

The winning players will get a chance to be mentored by Nazli on how to improve their social media skills and how to build their brands on the socials. But that is not all, there is another contest which will require their sports knowledge and people’s skills. This is a chance to impress the judges in studio and up for grabs is the gold, silver and bronze medals.

This week our resident judge, Neil Andrews will be joined by former Bafana Bafana international and SuperSport analyst, Stanton "Stiga" Fredericks as well as actress and radio presenter, Nelisiwe Sibiya.

The challenge takes them to a live game, nope silly. It’s not only for their entertainment. They have to grind, show that they can interact with fans but most of all that they know what they are talking about. Not to lie though, it will be a bit daunting for others.

Will your fave make the cut and come out on top this week?

Catch the show every Sunday on SuperSport Variety 4 and Mzansi Magic at 9pm.
