South Africa’s Women win toss and bowl against England in semifinal

South Africa’s captain, Laura Wolvaardt, won the toss and chose to bowl first in the second semifinal of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup at a cloudless Oval in London on Thursday night. The winners will play Australia in the final at Lord’s on Sunday.
Hosts England have thus far enjoyed a dominant World Cup, reeling off five convincing victories in the group stage.

They are further strengthened by the return of their captain and leading batter, Nat Sciver-Brunt, following a calf injury.
South Africa have been less impressive, losing a one-sided opening match against Australia.
Thereafter they had mixed moments of brilliance, particularly in their dramatic triumph against India, with scrambling wins against Pakistan and Bangladesh where the batting has looked vulnerable.
