They're back! The best motorcycle riders in the world are ready to thrill us on the world's top circuits again, and it could turn out to be the season we've been waiting for for years...

Marc Marquez has had a troubled last five years or so, but now he's back on the best bike, in probably the best team, and injury free, so no more excuses.

His battle with Ducati teammate Pecco Bagnaia is set to dominate the season, so will the 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 MotoGP World Champion make this season his return to glory?

South Africans will once again have their eyes trained on Brad Binder as the man from Potchefstroom heads into his sixth season in MotoGP's top category.

If he wants to challenge the big boys for podium places, he is first going to have to face off with his KTM teammate Pedro Acosta. The 20-year-old Spaniard had five podiums in his rookie season in 2024, and will be looking to kick on in 2025.

Binder faces a tough task to remain the team's No 1.

There are now 22 races, with a new destination in Hungary, and a return to Brno in the Czech Republic. With sprints at every race, there are a record 814 points up for grabs.
