Durban City inflict first defeat on Beganovic
TS Galaxy's Nedbank Cup adventure came to an end on Valentine's Day as they let slip the lead to lose 2-1 against Durban City after extra time at Chatsworth Stadium.
It was Adnan Beganovic's first defeat since taking charge of the Rockets in November, having seen his team hit the front through Dzenan Zajmovic early in the second half, only for Joslin Kamatuka to equalise with 11 minutes left on the clock and Senzo Ndlovu secured the comeback win on 107 minutes.

Beganovic's side came into the Cup tie on the back of a 14-match unbeaten run in all competitions, while Durban City had won their last two games in the Motsepe Foundation Championship to open up a five-point lead at the summit.
Galaxy came closest to opening the scoring in the first half when Damir Sovsic shaved the top of the crossbar with a first-time shot after Zajmovic had done well to flick the ball into his path inside the box.
It remained goalless at the break and Durban City head coach Simo Dladla made three changes at the start of the second half, bringing on Kamatuka, Saziso Magawana and Athini Jodwana in a bid to freshen up his team.
However, it was the visitors who broke the deadlock just four minutes after the restart as Zajmovic found the back of the net to register his third goal in the Ke Yona Ya Rona, with Puso Dithejane providing the assist.
The KZN outfit looked to respond and they created a few chances before Kamatuka eventually restored parity on 79 minutes to continue his good form in front of goal.
Extra time beckoned and Galaxy threw numbers forward in search of a winner, but instead the goal came at the other end as Ndlovu beat Jiri Ciupa in the 107th minute to send the Betway Premiership club packing and Durban city into the quarterfinals.
