Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns will go head-to-head for the fourth time this season when they contest the Nedbank Cup final.

The two teams met twice in the DStv Premiership and they also faced off in the MTN 8 final which the Buccaneers won 3-1 on penalties following a goalless draw.

Pirates will have the chance to defend their title after beating Chippa United 3-1 in their semifinal tie at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday.

Sundowns are still in the hunt for a domestic double after they edged Carling knockout winners Stellenbosch 2-1 in the last-four encounter at the Danie Craven Stadium on Sunday.

Goals in each half from Khuliso Mudau (11') and Thembinkosi Lorch (74') got the job done for Bafana ba Style, although Genino Palace (81') made them sweat when he pulled one back in the closing stages.
