The Premier League is back after a brief pause for the international break and FA Cup action, with a jam-packed midweek schedule spanning Tuesday to Thursday. Don’t miss a moment—catch all the action live on SuperSport! All matches kick off at 8:45pm CAT, unless otherwise stated.

Three matches kick things off on Tuesday, followed by six on Wednesday and a blockbuster Thursday night showdown. Liverpool aim to solidify their title charge, while the race for Europe heats up for Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, and Nottingham Forest.

TUESDAY’S LINEUP

Bournemouth v Ipswich Town

Bournemouth are on the hunt for their first league double over Ipswich since the 1949-50 season. The Cherries have found the net in each of their last 11 encounters with the Tractor Boys, while Ipswich’s lone away win in this fixture came way back in 1953.

However, Bournemouth have hit a rough patch, losing three of their last four league games, including a worrying three-match losing streak at home. Ipswich, meanwhile, are in freefall, suffering eight defeats in their last nine Premier League outings.

Arsenal v Fulham

The Gunners have an incredible record against Fulham at home—31 matches unbeaten in league play, the longest such streak in English Football League history.

Arsenal have dominated London derbies this season, collecting 20 points—the most of any club—while Fulham have punched above their weight, winning four capital clashes this term. With Arsenal thriving in April fixtures (a perfect 7-for-7 on April 1st), the Cottagers face an uphill battle at the Emirates.

Brighton & Hove Albion v Aston Villa

Brighton are looking to make it four consecutive home wins in the top flight for the first time ever. Villa, however, have had the upper hand in this matchup, winning five straight before Brighton snapped the streak earlier this season.

The Villans have won two of their last three league games and are aiming for consecutive away wins for the first time since the start of the season.

Wolves v West Ham

West Ham have had the edge in recent meetings, winning seven of the last nine clashes with Wolves. However, the Hammers haven’t won four consecutive midweek league games since 2021.

Wolves have rediscovered some form, picking up 10 points in their last six matches—matching their tally from the previous 12 combined. They’re now pushing for back-to-back wins for the third time this season.

Nottingham Forest v Manchester United, kick-off 9pm CAT

Forest are chasing history, hoping to complete their first league double over Manchester United since the 1991-92 season. They stunned the Red Devils 3-2 at Old Trafford in December and have made City Ground a tricky place for visitors.

United have lost their last two league games against Forest, more than in their previous 13 encounters combined. Can Erik ten Hag’s side reverse the trend?

WEDNESDAY’S ACTION

Manchester City v Leicester City

City have dominated this fixture, winning nine of their last 10 league meetings with the Foxes, and they’ve been ruthless against promoted teams, winning 21 of their last 22 such encounters.

Leicester, meanwhile, are in dire straits, losing 13 of their last 14 games, including six straight without scoring. If history holds, City should cruise to another three points.

Newcastle United v Brentford

Newcastle have turned their season around with nine wins in their last 13 games, second only to Liverpool in that span. Brentford, however, are riding a five-game away winning streak—the longest in the Premier League this season.

The Bees will be looking to secure their first-ever league double over Newcastle after a stunning 4-2 win in December.

Southampton v Crystal Palace

The Saints are in deep trouble, losing nine straight home matches—a club record. Only two teams in top-flight history have suffered longer home losing streaks in a single season.

Palace have been in red-hot form, winning their last three matches, and are now chasing their longest winning run in nearly five years.

Liverpool v Everton

Liverpool have won their last three home league games against Everton, all by a 2-0 scoreline. Everton, however, will take heart from their 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture and are aiming to avoid defeat in both Merseyside derbies in a single season for the first time since 2020-21.

With Everton drawing more games than any other team this season (13), could we be in for yet another stalemate?

THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

Chelsea v Tottenham Hotspur, kick-off 9pm CAT

Chelsea have a dominant record against Spurs, losing just one of their last 12 league meetings and winning the last three by a combined score of 10-4.

Tottenham have struggled in London derbies this season, earning just 10 points—the fewest of any capital club. They’ll need a turnaround to avoid their worst derby campaign since 2004-05.

With the title race, European qualification, and relegation battle all heating up, MD30 promises to be a thrilling round of Premier League action!
