US Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley could name himself in the team on Wednesday - and you can watch the full press conference from 5pm-6pm CAT on the Blitz channel on SuperSport.

Bradley could become the first playing captain since Arnold Palmer in 1963, and no one would begrudge him that role given his form this season. He sits 11th on the list.

The automatic picks are Scottie Scheffler, JJ Spaun, Xander Schauffele, Russell Henley, Harris English and Bryson DeChambeau, while Justin Thomas and Collin Morikawa - numbers 7 and 8 in the standings - are widely expected to be shoo-ins.

Other names expected to feature include Ben Griffin - a two-time winner on the PGA Tour this season - recent first-time winner Cameron Young (14th) and Maverick McNealy, who rounds out the top 10 in the standings.

Major winner Brian Harman (12), the in-form Andrew Novak (13), two-time Ryder Cupper Patrick Cantlay (15), the consistent Sam Burns (16), or even five-time player Jordan Spieth could be on Bradley's list. While three-time major winner Spieth is only 32nd on the list, there is no doubting what he would bring to the American camp, both from a teammate and crowd perspective.
