The LaLiga EA Sports season has come to an end. Barcelona have been crowned champions, joined in the Uefa Champions League spots by Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid, Athletic Club, and Villarreal CF.

Real Betis and RC Celta secured places in the Europa League, while Rayo Vallecano qualified for the Conference League. But these clubs weren’t the only winners—Kylian Mbappé, Jan Oblak, and Ayoze Pérez also reigned supreme in LaLiga 2024/25, taking home the Pichichi, Zamora, and Zarra trophies respectively.

Kylian Mbappé wins the Pichichi after a sensational end to the season

The French striker finished as the top scorer in his debut LaLiga EA Sports campaign, netting 31 goals in 34 matches, averaging 0.91 goals per game—a truly elite figure. All season long, he trailed behind Robert Lewandowski, but in a remarkable final stretch, he managed to overtake the Polish forward. Mbappé also won the Golden Boot as the top scorer across Europe’s domestic leagues.

Barcelona’s Lewandowski had to settle for second place with 27 goals in 34 matches. Still, he had an excellent season, averaging 0.79 goals per game, playing a crucial role in Barça’s title triumph. Rounding out the top three is one of the league’s breakout stars, Ante Budimir, who set a personal best in LaLiga with 21 goals in 38 games, averaging 0.55 goals per match—essentially one goal every two games.

Ayoze Pérez, another striker making waves in LaLiga

The Villarreal CF forward was the top Spanish goalscorer in LaLiga, scoring 19 goals in 30 appearances—an average of 0.69 goals per game. It was his finest season at the elite level, marking a phenomenal rise since he was crowned European champion with the Spanish national team.

Since joining his new club, Ayoze has thrived under Marcelino’s guidance, his only setbacks being a few injuries during the season. His closest challengers for the award were Oihan Sancet (Athletic Club) and Kike García (Deportivo Alavés), who scored 15 and 13 goals respectively. Both enjoyed strong seasons, with Sancet helping secure Champions League qualification and García playing a key role in his team’s survival.

Jan Oblak earns his sixth Zamora Trophy

Jan Oblak has smashed records by becoming the only goalkeeper in LaLiga EA Sports history to win six Zamora Trophies. He beat out Thibaut Courtois with a goals-against average of 0.83, compared to the Belgian’s 0.97. David Soria rounded out the top three with 1.03.

Before Oblak, only two goalkeepers had managed to win the Zamora Trophy five times: Víctor Valdés and Antoni Ramallets, both with Barcelona. Oblak, captain of Atlético de Madrid, now stands alone at the summit.

He previously won the award in 2015/16 (18 goals conceded), 2016/17 (21), 2017/18 (22), 2018/19 (27), and 2020/21 (25). This historic achievement cements his status as one of the greatest goalkeepers in LaLiga EA Sports history.
