Several summer transfers have already been announced by LALIGA EA SPORTS clubs, and here comes a look at 10 of the highest profile moves so far.

MARCUS RASHFORD (FC BARCELONA)

One of the most eye-catching moves in this transfer window has been FC Barcelona’s acquisition of Marcus Rashford on loan from Manchester United. When the 27-year-old is in form, he can quickly rack up the goals and Hansi Flick will hope for exactly that during the 2025/26 season.

JULEN AGIRREZABALA (VALENCIA CF)

Valencia CF have had several impressive goalkeepers over the years, and they’ll look to keep that tradition up now that Julen Agirrezabala has replaced Giorgi Mamardashvili in goal. The 24-year-old arrives on loan from Athletic Club and already boasts a lot of experience. He was actually the primary goalkeeper when the Basque side won the Copa del Rey in 2023/24.

THIAGO ALMADA (ATLÉTICO DE MADRID)

Diego Simeone will have another compatriot to work with this coming season, with Argentina national team midfielder Thiago Almada having arrived from Botafogo this window. The 24-year-old already has experience in Europe from his time with Lyon and will hope to fit in right away.

ÁLEX BAENA (ATLÉTICO DE MADRID)

Álex Baena was one of the best players in LALIGA EA SPORTS last season, with his seven goals and 10 assists helping Villarreal CF to qualify for the Champions League. Now, the player who turns 24 this summer has switched clubs and joined Atlético de Madrid, offering Diego Simeone a luxury option in attack heading into next season.

TRENT ALEXANDER-ARNOLD (REAL MADRID)

One of the biggest acquisitions in all of world football this summer has been Real Madrid’s capture of English right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold. After spending his entire career so far at Liverpool, the 26-year-old felt it was time for a new challenge and decided to bring his incredible offensive skills to the Bernabéu. Already he has been able to represent his new team at the Club World Cup, where he has been catching the eye.

ALBERTO MOLEIRO (VILLARREAL CF)

Even though UD Las Palmas suffered relegation last season, Alberto Moleiro stood out positively on an individual level. The 21-year-old winger scored six goals for the Canary Islanders, so several clubs were willing to offer him the chance to stay in LALIGA EA SPORTS. Ultimately, he accepted the offer of Villarreal CF, where he’ll link up with their wide array of attacking talents.

JOAN GARCÍA (FC BARCELONA)

FC Barcelona have a new goalkeeper, having signed the extremely talented Joan García. By depositing the 24-year-old’s release clause, Los Azulgranas were able to prize Joan García away from city rivals RCD Espanyol. Given that he made a league-high 145 saves last season, the Catalan player certainly knows how to save his team at the back.

DEAN HUIJSEN (REAL MADRID)

One of Real Madrid’s priorities this summer was to strengthen their defence and they’ve signed centre-back Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth as part of this mission. The 20-year-old has already made three appearances for the Spanish national team and arrives in the Spanish capital with huge potential.

ÁLVARO CARRERAS (REAL MADRID)

Real Madrid really have been busy in the transfer market so far this summer, and they’ve also brought in Álvaro Carreras, a left-back who arrives from Benfica. Born in Galicia, before spending time in the Real Madrid academy, the player who is now 22 years old boasts a lot of experience, including in LALIGA EA SPORTS. He played in Spain’s top division with Granada CF in 2023/24.

FERRAN JUTGLÀ (RC CELTA)

As RC Celta prepare to return to Europe in 2025/26, they’ve added depth in attack by bringing in Ferran Jutglà. The 26-year-old Spanish centre-forward was in high demand, after scoring 40 goals for Club Brugge in 148 appearances, but it was the Galician club who won the race for his signature.
