SCHEFFER CHASING A HATTRICK OF TITLE
World number 1 Scottie Scheffler is chasing his third successive Green Jacket having won the two previous editions.
Last year he claimed his second title, shooting 11-under 277 to edge Ludvig Aberg, who placed second at 7-under 281.
Scheffler also won the 2022 Masters for what was his first career major victory.

BEZUIDENHOUT LEADS SOUTH AFRICA'S CHARGE
South Africa’s highest ranking player Christiaan Bezuidenhout will lead the country’s charge at Augusta. He will be joined by Thirston Lawrence who finished fourth in last year’s The Open.
Charl Schwartzel will be looking to add to his 2011 title.
IS WOODS PLAYING?
Woods, a five-time winner of the green jacket, is going to miss the Masters in 2025 after having surgery to repair a ruptured achilles, an injury he announced on April 11. He's one of 16 past champions not playing in 2025.
