Sundowns sign Adams from Stellenbosch
Mamelodi Sundowns have completed the signing of Bafana Bafana midfielder Jayden Adams from Stellenbosch FC on a three-year contract, the club confirmed on Saturday.
It is a move that had been widely expected for some time as Sundowns add to their options in the centre of the park in what will be a hectic few months to the end of the Fifa Club World Cup in the United States.

Adams, 23, had spent his entire career to date at Stellenbosch FC, breaking through into the first team in the 2019/20 season.
He made 139 appearances for the side, scoring nine goals. His last helped Stellenbosch into the quarterfinals of the CAF Confederation Cup earlier this month.
Adams is also a Bafana international though was dropped from the squad by coach Hugo Broos during the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers when he failed to report for camp following Stellenboschโs defeat to Orlando Pirates in the MTN8 final.
He is the second Stellenbosch player to join Sundowns in six months after the Tshwane side triggered the release clause of striker Iqraam Rayners at the start of the campaign.
The Winelands club also lost captain Deano van Rooyen to Orlando Pirates and are desperately trying to keep hold of left-back Fawaaz Basadien amid interest from several clubs.
