As two superstars and fan favourites in the world of combat sports, Justin Gaethje and Paddy Pimblett, will go toe-to-toe in the main event for the UFC interim lightweight title.

Gaethje, 37, will head into his next fight with a record of 26-5-0 as he continues to be one of the promotion’s main attractions.
The Lightweight powerhouse recorded a Unanimous decision win over Rafael Fiziev at UFC313 in March 2025 while he once again put his name among the top contenders in the division.
Nicknamed ‘The Highlight’, Gaethje is no stranger to mega fights in the UFC, given previous run-ins with the likes of Charles Oliveira, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Max Holloway and Tony Ferguson.
With yet another chance at claiming UFC Gold, the former interim champion believes that he can teach Pimblett a lesson this weekend.
"I hope he's overconfident in himself, just like I was when I was 30 years old, so I can teach him some lessons," Gaethje said.
"This is 25 minutes in time. Nothing from the past, nothing from the future can determine it. It's about being perfect. Who's more perfect? Who makes mistakes? Who doesn't make mistakes, who's more prepared?
"I want to take Paddy into the fourth, fifth round. Really hurt him, and I'm looking forward to it."
Pimblett (23-3-0), who has long expressed his desire for a title shot, is currently on a seven-fight win streak in the UFC.
The Liverpudlian last featured in April 2025, where he recorded a dramatic TKO win over Micheal Chandler at UFC314.
Speaking ahead of the fight, ‘Paddy the Baddie’, as he is fondly known, boldly claimed that he would end Gaethje’s illustrious career in stunning fashion.
"If he's saying he's going to retire if he loses, then yeah, he's 100-per cent retiring on Saturday," Pimblett said.
The Co-Main event will feature the brash talking Bantamweight powerhouse Sean O’Malley, who will be taking on Song Yadong, while crowd favourite Derrick Lewis and Waldo Cortes-Acosta will compete in the only Heavyweight fight on the Main Card.
