DRIVERS’ STANDINGS
McLaren has already sealed the constructors’ title, but the drivers’ crown remains fiercely contested.

Norris holds a slender 12-point lead over Verstappen and 16 over his teammate Piastri. The permutations are simple yet brutal: a podium finish guarantees Norris the title, but anything less opens the door for Verstappen or Piastri to snatch glory.
CHAMPIONSHIP PERMUTATIONS
For Norris to be champion he needs a podium finish and if he finishes fourth or lower, Verstappen must not win.
Verstappen: Must win and hope Norris finishes off the podium. Other scenarios involve Norris finishing 8th or worse if Verstappen is 2nd.
Piastri: Needs to win and Norris to finish 6th or lower. A second-place finish only works if Norris is 10th or worse and Verstappen is off the podium.
