Burger edges Kolisi in Springbok Dream Team vote

The people have spoken - and they want Schalk Burger in their Springbok Dream Team.

In a tightly contested viewers' vote for the openside flank position, Burger claimed a decisive victory over Siya Kolisi, earning just over half the total support. Kolisi, a fan favourite and World Cup-winning captain, secured nearly a third of the vote, but it wasn’t enough to topple the iconic blond bruiser.

With the final tally in, Burger takes his place in the Dream Team’s back row, joining a growing list of legends selected by SuperSport viewers. The campaign continues as fans shape their ultimate Bok XV, one position at a time.
