The Fidelity ADT Lions have brought back their talisman - URC Player of the year Sanele Nohamba - to their starting line-up for Saturday’s Carling Currie Cup final against the Hollywoodbets Sharks.

Nohamba, who last week also put in a performance to help the Lions win their semifinal against the Toyota Cheetahs, replaces Kade Wolhuter at 10, the latter who drops to the bench.

Captain Jaco Visagie will once again lead the side while tighthead prop Asenathi Ntlabakanye believes his side will need to be better at the basics this weekend if they are to win the trophy.

“Our set piece was below par last week so that’s something we need to work on,” he said.

“If you look at last week’s semi-final, we scored tries but conceded easy points immediately after that. So those are the things we have been working hard on this week in our preparations. All in all, we look forward to Saturday as both players and the fans come out to support the team.”

Fidelity ADT Lions:  Quan Horn, Rabz Maxwane, Rynhardt Jonker, Marius Louw, Tapiwa Mafura; Sanele Nohamba, Nico Steyn; Jarrod Cairns, Ruan Venter, Renzo du Plessis, Darrien-Lane Landsberg, Ruben Schoeman, Asenathi Ntlabakanye, Jaco Visagie (captain), Morgan Naude.

Replacements: Morne Brandon, Juan Schoeman, Conrad van Vuuren, Siba Qoma, Raynard Roets, JC Pretorius, Kade Wolhuter, Kelly Mpeku.
