This week the curtain will come down on another successful year of international cricket at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium when the Proteas host Pakistan in the first T20 International of the series on Tuesday.

Another exciting Proteas squad has been assembled with a handful of Hollywoodbets Dolphins stars in the mix with David Miller, Ottniel Baartman and Andile Simelane among the 15-man squad for the T20 series.

The Durban crowds came out in their numbers for the recent T20 International against India, and the team at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium are expecting another bumper crowd for the T20 against Pakistan this week.

"It's been an incredibly busy summer so far at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium and we want to finish on a high," CEO of KZN Cricket Heinrich Strydom said.

"It's our last international for the year and we are hoping that the crowds will come out in their numbers to cheer on our men's team.

"2024 has been another milestone year for Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium and we want to end it on a high this week."

Heinrich Klaasen has been announced as the captain for the Proteas side for the series in the absence of Aiden Markram who is on duty with the Proteas test squad against Sri Lanka.

There are a few players that are involved in the test squad that aren't available for selection, however players like Tabraiz Shamsi and Anrich Nortje return to the T20 squad for the first time since the T20 World Cup.
