With under three months to go until the 2026 World Cup, the Moroccan national team led by Achraf Hakimi were treated to a memorable surprise at their training facility in Rabat on behalf of global sports company PUMA, by receiving the home and away Moroccan jerseys which will be worn at the tournament in the United States.

Hakimi and further stars, including Yasine Bounou and Brahim Diaz, were able to view their jerseys ahead of training, with the stunt designed to bring emotional attachment and enhance excitement ahead of the tournament.

Moroccan defender Samir El Moubaret spoke about representing Morocco on the global stage, saying the kit "represents the country really well." Samir also speaks about being called up to the national team for the first time, explaining how players and staff have "welcomed him warmly", with a clear focus on the World Cup, explaining that the experience would be "a dream", with the aim being "to go as far as possible in the competition."

Inspired by Moroccan heritage, the designs offer a contemporary take on tradition, blending timeless cultural codes with a modern aesthetic. The home jersey features a deep red base with green accents and traditional detailing at the collar and sleeves, while the away jersey presents a clean white base with subtle geometric patterns inspired by Moroccan tilework and architecture.

PUMA earlier held a global kit launch moment with a street-level event in Domino Square, based in New York, revealing all 11 of their national kits, placing football, music, culture and more at the centre stage of the celebration, which included Morocco’s home and away jersey being on show in the United States.
