The Netherlands women won the toss and chose to bowl first against the Proteas women in their ICC Women’s T20 World Cup pool match at the County Ground in Bristol on Thursday night.

It is a massively important game for the Proteas as they need a big win to boost their net run rate, as qualification for the semifinals could go down to the wire, and with Australia and India boasting vastly better net run rates, the South Africans might be in danger if they don’t improve theirs.

The Proteas head into the match off the back of an impressive win over India, so they will be very confident of picking up an good win against the Netherlands, who have lost all three of their games so far.
