CSA and KFC renew partnership ‘Mini to Mighty’ campaign this women's month

Cricket South Africa (CSA) has renewed its partnership with KFC under a new multi-year deal.
The partnership was announced on Wednesday at a launch event that coincides with the 16th anniversary of KFC’s association with the Mini Cricket, a programme that levels the playing field and nurtures the potential of children from all backgrounds.
As the Official Restaurant Partner to CSA, KFC has renewed its commitment to the Proteas Men, with the partnership now also extending to the Proteas Women, unlocking opportunities to leverage the teams through creative storytelling.
More than 120 Mini-Cricketers have gone on to play for Proteas teams in the past 16 years, and they are among 2.5 million children who have benefited from the programme since KFC’s partnership began.
CSA Chief Executive Officer, Pholetsi Moseki, said; “We are delighted to continue our long-standing partnership with KFC. This renewed commitment reinforces the shared vision we have to nurture talent, promote inclusivity, and keep the love of the game thriving across South Africa.”
"KFC's support of the Proteas Women marks an exciting new chapter to take women's cricket to even greater heights, and we look forward to building on our partnership to create a future where every aspiring cricketer has the chance to shine."

KFC Africa General Manager, Akhona Qengqe, added to that sentiment by saying; “Renewing our partnership with CSA builds on the journey we began in 2009/10 with KFC Mini-Cricket, bringing our long-standing support for South African cricket full circle.
“Feeding youth potential through Mini-Cricket and Add Hope is a huge part of our purpose, and our new Proteas partnerships will dramatically deepen our growth and impact.
“Our association to the senior national teams means the 100 000 children who play KFC Mini-Cricket every year can see themselves progressing on a KFC-supported journey to potentially representing their country. It’s a licence for them to hope and dream!”
“Supporting the national women’s cricket team is not only about championing women in sport, it’s about standing behind one of the most successful national teams our country has produced. Their track record of excellence inspires pride, unites communities, and lights the path for the next generation of players who aspire to wear the Proteas uniform.”
Looking ahead, the KFC Mini-Cricket programme is focused on making a meaningful and lasting impact.
Through this initiative, KFC and the Proteas Women have launched ‘Mini to Mighty’, a powerful campaign that will resonate throughout the duration of the partnership.
KFC don't just want to be everywhere feeding people, they want to be everywhere feeding people's potential, with integrity at the heart of all they do.
