Tennis South Africa (TSA) is thrilled to announce a landmark partnership with Spanish sportswear giant Joma Sport, who will become the official Technical Sponsor of TSA for a 3 year period beginning September 2025.

The announcement was made during the Davis Cup Meet and Greet ceremony at Garden Court Hatfield Hotel in Pretoria, just ahead of South Africa’s World Group II clash against Morocco. In a symbolic debut, Team South Africa was kitted in Joma Sport, showcasing the sleek new look that will soon define national tennis representation.

Under the agreement, Joma Sport will supply apparel, accessories, hardware, and footwear for all TSA national teams, including the Davis Cup, Billie Jean King Cup, Junior teams, and Wheelchair tennis teams. TSA is committed to ensuring that players, referees, staff, and officials are consistently outfitted in Joma gear, reinforcing a unified and professional image across all levels of the sport.

Joma Sport continues to expand its footprint in global tennis, sponsoring elite players such as Tomas Machac of the Czech Republic and long-time Spanish stalwart Feliciano López. The brand also outfits national federations including Spain, Italy, Serbia, and Slovakia, reinforcing its reputation for high-performance gear and stylish design.

“This partnership with Joma Sport marks a transformative moment for Tennis South Africa,” said Anthony Moruthane, General Manager of TSA.

“We are not just dressing our teams, we are aligning with a global brand that understands the power of sport to unite, inspire, and elevate. Joma’s reputation for quality, innovation, and performance mirrors our own ambitions for South African tennis. From grassroots development to elite international competition, this partnership ensures our players, officials, and staff are equipped to represent the nation with pride and professionalism. We look forward to walking this journey with Joma Sport, and to seeing our players shine - on court and in style.”

“Tennis has always been a strong category for Joma globally, demonstrated by our partnerships with the Italian, Slovakian and Spanish Tennis federations, and now Tennis South Africa. We’re excited to be extending that same energy & support into the local market. Our approach has always been to let the product speak for itself — delivering quality, performance, and design that athletes can trust. We see this partnership as an opportunity not only to equip players at every level, but also an exciting step in our journey to grow the brand locally, to celebrate the talent South Africa continues to produce, and to contribute meaningfully to its sporting future.” said Marina López, CEO of Joma Sport.
