Mumbai Indians struggled to a perilous 46-4 in the Power Play after being asked to bat first by the Kolkata Knight Riders in their Tata IPL match at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Wednesday.

Australian allrounder Cameron Green had a hand in the first three wickets to fall with Ryan Rickelton (6) top edging a pull to midwicket and Naman Dhir (0) edging his third ball from Green to ‘keeper Angkrish Raghuvanshi giving the Australian figures of 2-0-17-2.

Rohit Sharma (15) skied a slog sweep against seamer Saurabh Dubey (3-0-22-2) to deep wicket where Green held a fine, running catch and Suryakumar Yadav (15) was bowled off an inside edge in the sixth over.

Mumbai were eliminated from playoff contention a week ago but the Knight Riders retain a slim, mathematical chance of qualifying.
