Top T20 stars join remainder of Betway SA20 Season 4

Betway SA20 Season 4 is fast approaching the halfway stage with teams vying for playoff spots. There has been some movement within the squads heading into this crucial juncture.
Durban’s Super Giants (DSG) have replaced Proteas’ ICC T20 World Cup bound Tony de Zorzi with Liam Livingstone.

The England allrounder has previously played for both MI Cape Town and Pretoria Capitals in the Betway SA20.
De Zorzi has been released to focus on his rehabilitation ahead of the global showpiece next month.
West Indies mystery spinner Sunil Narine has also arrived at Kingsmead as opener
Devon Conway heads back to New Zealand for international duty.
Narine is one of the foremost T20 superstars of his generation, having won the ICC T20 World Cup twice and is a serial franchise T20 League winner.
Rising Star Gysbert Wege has been ruled out due to illness and has left the DSG camp to undergo rehabilitation.
No replacement has been called for his place in the squad.
Joburg Super Kings have recalled seamer Duan Jansen into the squad after top-order batter Rilee Rossouw has been ruled out due to injury.
Jansen was impressive in his first stint with JSK, claiming a career-best 4-23 in the victory over Pretoria Capitals at Centurion.
The JSK batting has also been boosted with the arrival of James Vince. The former England international is an experienced campaigner with close to 13 000 T20 runs.
“It's really good to be here. It's nice to actually get into the nets, I am looking forward to it,” Vince said.
“I am looking forward to the opportunity to bat with him (Joburg Super Kings captain Faf du Plessis) again. He's been around a long time, a quality player. One of the best players SA has had, so it'll be a pleasure to open up with him.”
Pretoria Capitals have already handed a debut to West Indies T20 legend Andre Russell, who announced his arrival in South Africa by clubbing a boundary straight down the ground off the first ball he faced in Betway SA20.
Russell replaced seamer Keith Dudgeon.
England international Jordan Cox will also slot in the Capitals’ squad at the expense of Rising Star Daniel Smith.
Cox is no stranger to Betway SA20 after being part of the Sunrisers Eastern Cape’s inaugural championship-winning squad in 2023.
The action continues today as MI Cape Town look to change their fortunes against an in-form JSK at a sold-out Newlands.
