Final permutations for Betway Premiership

The final two matches of the Betway Premiership season will formalise the top eight positions in the standings plus settle the issue of which team goes into the post-season promotion-relegation playoff.
The race for the top three places has been settled and the top eight is practically finalised too, although there is still the mathematical possibility of a change in the final order with two fixtures still to be completed.
Magesi must beat Orlando Pirates by five goals when they conclude their season at the Orlando Stadium on Wednesday if they are to knock Richards Bay out of eighth place.
If Magesi do not achieve what looks a near impossible task, then there is still an opportunity for Lamontville Golden Arrows when they meet SuperSport United in Atteridgeville on Thursday.
That game kick off at midday and picks up in the second half.
It was abandoned in late February when the lights went out at the Lucas Moripe Stadium and it has taken more than three months to be replayed.
Bizarrely both teams must start the second half with the same players who finished the first half of the abandoned game although SuperSport have several injuries since then while Arrows have let go Knox Mutizwa and Thabani Zuke.
They will all have to be replaced at the start of the game. If Arrows score five goals in the 45-minute encounter, then they will finish eighth.
SuperSport must avoid defeat if they are to move away from the relegation zone.
A point will see them finish above Cape Town City on goal difference and condemn the coastal club to the nerve-wracking post-season promotion-relegation playoff.
With Royal AM expelled there is no worry for any of the other clubs as far as automatic relegation is concerned.
