AmaZulu keeper Ofori on his way back to action

AmaZulu goalkeeper Richard Ofori is on the mend after a sickening blow to the head playing for AmaZulu in their opening game of the season, that has left him sidelined since.
Ofori collided with Sanel Barns of Stellenbosch when the two clubs met on the opening weekend of the month in the MTN8 quarterfinal.
The 31-year-old former Ghana captain had to go off after 31 minutes and has not played since, but is now back in training with the club.
Ofori also sustained a head injury during the KZN Premier's Cup in July, and AmaZulu have been cautious about rushing him back to action.
He suffered a concussion, and it is likely he will only return to the goal after the international window, which will have given him plenty of time to make a full recovery.
Olwethu Mzimela came off the bench to replace Ofori in the cup tie, but newly signed Darren Johnson, who moved to Durban from Chippa United, has been in goal for AmaZulu’s opening three matches of the new Betway Premiership season.
