Cricket South Africa (CSA) and New Zealand Cricket (NZC) are excited to announce a white-ball tour that will feature the first-ever T20 International (T20I) series with double-headers between the White Ferns and Proteas Women, and the Black Caps and Proteas Men.

The five-match T20I series will take place from 15 to 25 March 2026, with both the women’s and men’s teams playing on the same day at the same venue - a first for the two nations in a bilateral series.

The Proteas Women will play in the afternoon, followed by the Proteas Men under lights in the evening, offering fans back-to-back matches at international cricket venues in Mount Maunganui (15 March), Hamilton (17 March), Auckland (20 March), Wellington (22 March) and Christchurch (25 March).

Following the T20Is, the Proteas Women will remain in New Zealand for a three-match one-day international (ODI) series from 29 March – 4 April, which forms part of the second round of IWC matches for qualification to the 2029 Women’s Cricket World Cup.

Commenting on the T20I double-headers, Director of National Teams and High Performance, Enoch Nkwe said: “This is an exciting step forward in our relationship with New Zealand Cricket. Hosting both the women’s and men’s fixtures as double-headers throughout the T20I series will offer fans a more inclusive and engaging cricketing experience.

“It will no doubt be a competitive tour, and we look forward to what promises to be an exciting series for both the Proteas Men and Proteas Women.

“This series will also serve as valuable preparation for the Proteas Women ahead of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, which will be held in England and Wales in June.” Nkwe concludes.

Tickets will go on sale in August 2025 and will be available at nzc.nz.
