Football season is over, I hear you say? Actually, we have a World Cup - the Club World Cup to be precise - and it's been revamped, rejigged and super souped-up! Four African sides taking on the best in the world? Very, very tasty - and every game is live on SuperSport.

With the three SA teams in action in the quarterfinals of the Vodacom United Rugby Championship, there's a great chance we'll have some African flavour in the semifinal pot.

British & Irish Lions tour to Australia
The great northern bonding experience that is the B&I Lions kicks off this month, and culminates in three tests again hosts Australia in July. It'll also be a good litmus test for the Australian public ahead of their hosting of the 2027 World Cup.

World U20 Championship
England are the defending champions in Italy, and they are in a tough group with Australia, Scotland and South Africa.
The first round of matches is on Sunday, 29 June, with SA v Australia a standout fixture.

Shukri, Temba and the rest of the Proteas team will be off to Lord's in London to face the mighty, defending champions Australia in this one-off World Test Championship final.
It is the culmination of a two-year slog to reach the hallowed grounds, so the Proteas will be as motivated as they can to bring home some ICC silverware.

Club World Cup
Many of the best teams in the world are off the the States to find out who'll be crowned the inaugural champions of the expanded Club World Cup.
Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns, Al Ahly, Wydad and Esperance will rub shoulders with the likes of PSG, Real Madrid, Man City, Juventus, Inter Milan, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Messi's Inter Miami as the 32 teams play across the US of A.
