Asensio starts on bench for Aston Villa against PSG

Marco Asensio starts on the bench for Aston Villa against Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League quarterfinal tie on Wednesday.

The Spanish international is on loan at Villa from PSG and has scored eight goals in 11 appearances since arriving in the winter transfer window.

Marcus Rashford, another on-loan star, leads the attack for the visitors at the Parc des Princes, while PSG are without suspended skipper Marquinhos in defence.

Fellow Brazilian Lucas Beraldo takes his place in the heart of the home back four, and Bradley Barcola is left among the substitutes as Desire Doue joins Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in their attack.
