Resurgent Gallants target struggling SuperSport

Marumo Gallants will be seeking to continue their winning run in the Betway Premiership when they lock horns with a struggling SuperSport United side at the Dr. Petrus Molemela Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Kick-off is at 15:00 CAT (SA, GMT+2)
CURRENT FORM
Gallants have picked up form, winning their last two matches against TS Galaxy and Cape Town City respectively. The Free State outfit are now 12th in the Betway Premiership table, as they fight to avoid relegation.
On the other hand, SuperSport United are winless in their last three league matches and are in the relegation zone, in 15th on the log. Their most recent result was a goalless draw against Cape Town City, who are also looking to avoid the drop.
WHAT WAS SAID
SuperSport United interim coach Andre Arendse has the task of saving the team from relegation following the departure of Gavin Hunt.
“The first thing I did was to understand what it would take to get us through this challenge,” says Arendse.
“It is very easy to fall into panic mode when you look at the league table. But we have to stay as far away as possible from panicking.
“We have to keep doing things the way we’ve been doing them, and the things we did tonight [against Cape Town City] are the things we need to keep doing.”
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Christian Saile, SuperSport United – The Congolese forward has scored two goals since joining Matsantsantsa and will be needed to be on target against Gallants as this could potentially be a six-pointer clash.
Daniel Msendami, Marumo Gallants – The Zimbabwean winger was on the scoresheet in Siwelele sa Marumo’s last match against Galaxy and will be needed to bring the attacking threat to get the team over the line at home.
