FULL TIME: TONGA 45-24 ROMANIA A pulsating game is at and end and so is the World Cup for both these teams. Tonga go home with a win at last but Romania have won some hearts.

Pellegrini is almost in but in trying to score he sees the ball turned over. Romania hack it out but Tonga will come again.

Romania do try to run but eventually opt to kick up towards halfway and into touch.

Tonga just lose it forward in attack as some sloppiness creeps into their game. Romania have a defensive scrum and will likely look to launch from deep.

Ropanu taps and goes but then gets isolated and Havili wins the penalty for Tonga and also kicks deep into the Romanian 22.

Boboc is still working hard and wins a penalty after being denied a turnover illegally. Romania set up the lineout inside Tonga's half.

Havili cannot convert from out wide but Romania are threatening collapse.

TRY, TONGA, TAUMOEFOLAU, 45-24: Taumoefolau makes a dash for the corner after Romania's failed counter and he dives in to score.

Tonga are in at the corner but they will be pulled back for a forward pass and Romania have a scrum just a few metres away from their own line.

YELLOW CARD, ROMANIA, CONACHE: Conache commits a professional foul and must be binned.

The fresh legs of Taumoefolau dazzle the Romanians but his kick ahead os charged down, and Tonga will have to feed an attacking lineout.

This time Havili cannot convert but that try should seal the result for Tonga.

TRY, TONGA, KATA, 40-24: Simple but effective backline play ends with a second try for Kata.

Havili spots an opening and pings a 50/22 down deep into the Romania red zone where Tonga will feed the lineout.

A big clearing kick gives Tonga a zero fuss exit after the restart and that's just what they would have wanted.

CONVERSION, TONGA, HAVILI, 35-24: Havili converts for the fifth time today.

TRY, TONGA, AHKI, 33-24: Ahki is straight through a hole to score as Romania's defence gives way.

Kata bursts forward and draws an infringement at the ruck with Tonga flowing forward in attack with advantage.

Romania dink one in behind but Tonga do well to slow things down at the lineout an maul away from danger before kicking long.

CONVERSION, ROMANIA, CONACHE, 28-24: Conache converts to tighten this one right up once again.

TRY, ROMANIA, SIMIONESCU, 28-22: Romania go wide and the little grubber in behind is swallowed up by Simionescu.

Romania knock on at the restart but manage to force an error out of Tonga and have their own scrum feed on attack.

CONVERSION, TONGA, HAVILI, 28-17: Tonga convert again.

TRY, TONGA, VAILANU, 26-17: Maul power on show and Tonga have scored.

Tonga march into the Romania 22 off the penalty. Romania think they have repelled them but are penalised again.

Tonga pull off a great steal and are awarded a penalty to get out of trouble.

Tonga get penalised at scrum time and aren't happy about it. Romania kick to touch and Fifita returns for Tonga.

The second half is underway and Tonga quickly find themselves under pressure thanks to a basic handling error. Romania feed n attacking scrum.

HALF TIME: TONGA 21-17 ROMANIA Romania hit back when Tonga went down to 14. However, Tonga still lead at the break thanks to their tree tries.

Time is up for the half and Tonga have to decide if they want the lineout or to go to the break. They kick up to the Romanian 22.

Tonga are looking leggy with just 14 men on the park and are keen to kick to touch after a long bomb from Simionescu.

CONVERSION, ROMANIA, CONACHE, 21-17: Conache cuts the gap to just four points with half time approaching.

TRY, ROMANIA, SURUGIU, 21-15: Surugiu snipes and scores a special try for Romania in his 100th and final Test.

YELLOW CARD, TONGA, FIFITA: Fifita makes contact with the head and has to go to the bin.

CONVERSION, ROMANIA, CONACHE, 21-10: Conache gets Romania into double figures.

TRY, ROMANIA, BOBOC, 21-8: Romania seem to have butchered some great ball on the front foot but Boboc reacts well and will go over to score.

Romania attack but struggle to consistently make progress against a barrage of big hits. Romania win a breakdown penalty on halfway and they can gain some easier metres.

Romania trudge back into their 22 after an offside penalty but Tonga get it wrong at the setpiece and get penalised for obstruction. Romania kick up towards halfway where they will feed the lineout.

CONVERSION, TONGA, HAVILI, 21-3: Havili is up after a late hit and slots the conversion.

TRY, TONGA, TAUMOEPEAU, 19-3: Taumoepeau is over in the corner after a magic ball from Takulua from quick ruck ball.

Conache hacks at a loose ball on the ground but that only gives Tonga a chance to run it back at them.

PENALTY, ROMANIA, CONACHE, 14-3: Conache slots the kick to get Romania on the board.

Simionescu wins an aerial battle and Romania can run at Tonga for once and they are now attacking with advantage. A poor kick ends the attack but they come back for a penalty.

CONVERSION, TONGA, HAVILI, 14-0: Havili slots another good kick.

TRY, TONGA, MOALA, 12-0: Moala drags a tackler over the line with him in a physical mismatch.

Tonga are looking likely every time they touch the ball and particularly when Piutau joins the line. They knock a penalty down into the Romania 22 to start another attacking set.

CONVERSION, TONGA, HAVILI, 7-0: Havili converts.

TRY, TONGA, KATA, 5-0: Tonga pinch the lineout and break out, while Romania snatch the ball they soon give it back up and the Tongan line shreds the defence and Kata is in to score.

Coleman is caught out as he has a swarm of Romanians on him and it will be a penalty. Romania kick this one to touch inside the Tonga 22.

The scrum setting eats up more minutes but Romania are on the charge after releasing it.

Conache boots a wobbly old kick goalwards but it fades away and misses left. Tonga restart long and Romania come back at them. Tonga have it back after a knock on but then give up a free kick.

Tonga compete well at the lineout but then lose it forward and Romania feed a scrum between the 10 and halfway in the Tonga half. It takes some time to get a clean scrum and eventually Romania earn advantage, the kick ahead is gathered by a Tongan and the whistle blows. Romania will call for the tee.

KICK OFF: Romania kick off deep chase well, Tonga try to carry up but eventually send it back to Havili who finds touch on halfway.
