POWER PLAY UPDATE: RCB restrict KKR to 56-2

Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar claimed a wicket apiece to help the Royal Challengers Bengaluru restrict the Kolkata Knight Riders to 56-2 in the Power Play after choosing to bowl first in their Tata IPL match at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium in Raipur on Wednesday.

 

Bhuvneshwar had big-hitting Kiwi Finn Allen caught behind for 18 from just eight balls while opening partner Ajinkya Rahane spliced a pull shot back to Hazlewood to depart for 19 from 13 balls. Both openers struck three fours a six.

Angkrish Raghuvanshi (16*) and Cameron Green (3*) were at the crease at the end of the Power Play.
